We acquire, plan and realise national and international mobile network sites. Below you will find a selection of our reference projects.

National:

Acquisition, planning and installations of about 1.350 wireless stations for the network operators Telefonica o2 (Germany), T-Mobile/DFMG, Vodafone D2, E-Plus/ALNS und MobilCom.
Further to the installation of infrastructure and aerial systems, we implement the installation and commissioning of radio link lines and of system technology of various manufacturers.
Setting up of GSM-R-Stations as well as infrastructure and wireless projects for DB AG (German Railways) and DB Systel
Implementation of provision of mobile radio provision in railway tunnels and subways of the ICE-line Hannover-Kassel-Würzburg on behalf of DB Systel and Vodafone D2

Competence in geo-thermal energy

The warmth of the earth is an inexhaustible, environmentally friendly source of regenerative energy which makes it interesting from an economic stand point. The energy stored in the ground is permanently available and may be used independently of weather and season- It is available almost everywhere and does not need to be stored: the ground itself is the store.
Recently, building contractors, planners and architects have been changing their thinking about environmentally friendly and cost saving provision of heat supply and climate control in buildings.

GSM-R/Solutions for Railways

BTN has fully trained personnel for the realisation of operations on railway lines, especially taking into account the safety requirements for dangers in and around railway operations.

The combination of these railway specific safety regulations and our accumulated know how in communication technology makes us the ideal partner for the implementation of complex solutions on fast railways lines, railway properties, tunnels, external areas and railway control centres.

BTN has installed GSM-R stations in Germany and Belgium. We belong to the chosen partners for special projects in railway companies.

In-house Solutions

Due to our regional presence, BTN teams are available constantly for the mobile network operators when implementing complex in-house solutions. We accompany you through planning, the tendering procedure, formulation of contracts, implementation, integration and FLM for special sites.
We have comprehensive experience in these projects with pure HF- solutions, HF repeaters and optical systems in GSM 900/ 1800 and UTMS.

BTN Baran Telecom Networks GmbH was founded on 01.01.08 as a split of the mobile network area from Westmontage Kabel und Netzwerk GmbH.
